Audley Press is an artist-oriented publishing house whose mission is to publish and promote poetry, prose, and other fine literature.
The press concentrates on publishing the work of excellent contemporary writers whose voice is unique and distinctive, whose storytelling and characters connect with readers emotionally and intellectually, and whose work flourishes outside the narrow focus of commercial publishers.
We see our relationships with our authors as partnerships; we don’t seek to own the work as much as to collaborate to promote the art. We support our authors by ensuring their books are edited with care and are available in a variety of locations.
It is our sincere belief that a book is more than just a collection of words or merely a readable text, but an object of art intended to provoke in the reader emotions and visceral response, to educate and illuminate, and to challenge how a reader sees the world.
